The characters are interesting and the plot is truly good, you may get sucked in and have to read it all in one go. I don't want to spoil what happens (the reveal is part of what makes it so good), but it's a really nice mix of mystery/suspense, drama/romance, tactics/deception, and fantasy.

It slow is sure, but I enjoy it and basically made me want for more, even though it's already 4 years since I read them. Every chapters is BnK is connected to the plot and revealing the character traits one by one. I don't find many stories having that much attention to characters, but it is sure have its downslide which is the story became so dragged and tiring, but then again it's not like those chapters is fillers and have no connection to the plot like detective conan lol. Not just the major but also minor characters, they felt much more alive and have their own stories and personalities. Well BnK is famous for it's long and slow progress but I think that way the characters and plot is able to be portrayed in high detail.
